Black bhayam

Talking of Antarangalu, a word about Anuradha, Abhinayasri’s mother (that’s how she loves to be called). She had become an equally popular character for her mean act and looks…black saree, black nail enamel, black lip stick etc, black character with a black cat(?). While I spoke to Abhinayasri in Chennai, Anuradha takes over and gives me some dope on the not so black finale. She says, “Dasari Padma garu would always tell me to give up that serial because of it’s negative shade. Nuvvu intha manchi daanivi, ee chedda character enduku chesthunnavu. Inka chaalu vaddhu ani prati saari cheppe varu. Some people would get scared of that colour and character.” It’s a compliment infact and that means I’ve slipped into the role perfectly.
