From darkness to light

When the working committee and the film personalities got onto the stage the lights went off and Central Minister Dasari Narayana Rao put it across in a beautiful manner. Dasari spoke how the Telugu film industry has created a chapter in the history of Indian Cinema. He said, “Telugu cinema before 75 years was in darkness and that is the reason the lights were dimmed to show the progress of the film industry. The contributors, the pioneers of Telugu cinema to the Indian film industry will be honoured on the 26th, 27th and 28th of January. We want to make it a memorable event and we seek your cooperation in making it a success.”
