Commenting on why popular actresses throw nakhras on the sets, Mumait Khan says, “For the endless hours they spend shooting in traumatic conditions, in wispy chiffon saris on the Swiss Alps, falling off cliffs in pesky action sequences, travelling cross country for stage shows abandoning the concept of jet lag, invasion of privacy, getting mobbed often by lecherous men who view actress as public property and so on.”

Maybe the actress has a point here. And what with pornographic videos being taken in hotel rooms of stars, only to be circulated as MMS to generations of men who must be pleasuring themselves at the cost of the actress’ privacy. Its only natural the stars raise hell, when they are given ordinary treatment.

But what about you Mumait? “I don’t consider myself a star or an actress, I’m still a background dancer and I’m here to act and dance in item numbers because the going is good, once it is over I will go back to background dancing.” That’s really sweet Maisamma! Wonder why they named her “F. Maisamma” in her next film, bankruptcy of imagination I guess!”
