It is alleged that a producer took money (around 60 lakhs) from the Chamber (to buy for them) which was double the price of the land (actually it is worth 30 lakhs) and with the remaining amount bought three acres for himself.
In the original plan, the Outer Ring Road (ORR) was to go through his land. He had promised the Chamber his own 6 acres of land but few years passed by and the land value escalated but for the misfortune of the producer, the ORR proposal was made and it was supposed to go through his piece of land. So he put his crooked mind to use and promised the Chamber 6 acres of land in return for the three acres of land and got the ORR altered to go through the Chamber’s land hence saving his land. The discussion was verbal and there was no proof, and he simply washed his hands off saying he has no inkling of it. His land is worth 80 crores now. The producer is making two films one with a creative director and the other with a dance director.
