The ladies were ‘exzited’
Sandhya came with her mom on dot. Dressed in pink she sat glued to her phone and appeared bored except when she picked up the award. Saranya’s speech was heart warming. She thanked her hubby for giving her so much support, her 80-year-old father who did baby-sitting while she was away at work, her kids who behaved well, her producers, directors and all. Why not, a perfect occasion to remember and show gratitude. All through I noticed Saranya, Sandhya and a few Tamil-speaking ladies say how “exzited” they were. A clipping of the “Note Book” (original) was shown, and I recollected those horrendous moments in the theatre watching the Telugu version. Mammootty looked so good and dignified, his speech was short and sweet.
