Yamadonga‘s collections have slided and there is this rumour that ticket price has been hiked at some theatres, and also Cheri has issued a cheque of six crores to the financiers that bounced. While for general audience what matters is..is the film good or not but for the fans it’s all about collections, breaking records, casting aspersions and attributing ridiculous reasons for the failure or for a success of a film. All this is a bonus for the stars. For the media, they never had it this good, writing comparitive analysis on Yamadonga and Yamagola.

    I think it doesn’t matter.People stick to good movies and its already proven in past.If its a good entertainer it goes for long run. Same thing happened in Pokiri,Desamuduru…and they went on to become blockbusters.Pokiri’s smash hit came in setting new trends and style…Same thing might happen with YD also.

    Not to worry…keep going.Collections doesn’t drop.Since we have lot small movies lined up.So no big deal in becoming a sensational hit….!Hey Chiru Fans i hope you got a rite topic.You can shout now.Happy ?NJoy.

    I Really wonder abt chiru fans if they don’t want to compare NTR with Chiru.I donno why they step into this thread and scratch their head and scratch their CD’s.Cool and give a thought guys.

    on 8 th day of the movie u report that collections r likely to surpass all previous records for yamadonga, and immediately after one more day say that the collections have dropped. how do u come to such conclusions.neither of the stories r logical. first week collections should not lead towards permanent conclusions nor one days drop in collections means a movie is sliding. it is natural that when new movies flood the theatres in the week end , there would b some drop in week end collections of already running movies, which a good movie always picks up.being a journalist , u should not take , sudden about turn in ur remarks, simply because some people say u r taking sides. u should b strong in ur convictions. if u want to say anything about the drop in collections, pl write at the end of 2nd week, comparing the per theatre collections of first and second weeks, and that way u would b presenting a more realistic picture.
    let me give u a brief arithmetic. if all the shows of all the 500 theatres go houseful for the entire week, can u imagine what would b the first week collections. it would b 500*28*25000, pressuming an average housefull collection per show as rs25000/-.that would b a staggering rs35cr gross and approximately about 25cr share.did it ever happen. not so far.usually on working days a super hit movie goes 80% full on morning and matinee shws and full on 1st and second shows, and full on all shows in week ends.that way it would b about 90% of full house collections, if all shows in that theatre were full in fist week.all in all a 5to 10% drop in 2nd week collections does not mean that the movie is sliding.pl , for movie enthusiasts like us ,write an article on yamadonga, chirutha, athidi, magaadu. tulasi and don, at the end of every week. that increases the popularity of ur website.
    i conclude my remarks, with a request, not to write on collections on daily basis…..p shivaji

    Movie released on 27th july and on 3rd august its not house full so on 8th day itself SDZ collections dropped ok…check the below link..

    YAMADONGA collections dropped on 9th day…becoz aug 23rd is 9thday not 8th day.

    Movie released on 15th august and on 23rd august its not house full and 23rd august is 9thday of the movie..but om superhit they wrongly displayed 23rd as 8th day u can check both 22nd and 23rd august.

    any how sdz is flop but i can surely according to my observation yamadonga is not an superhit movie but its an above average thats it. the movie has 3 negative points

    1. movie lacks story its very lose packed movie.
    2.the total length movie is 3.05 hours( this is major issue nowdays all movie r arround 2hrs to 2.30hrs.)
    3. And the pre-release hype(its not reached upto expectation upto some extent)

    any how in my view its must watch movie for ntr dances(extra ordinary) and for visual effects.its an above average flick.
