Artistes and ego’s
I remember asking Krishna Vamsi how it is to feel having stars running behind him telling him that they are waiting for that ‘okka chance’. “Antha scene ledhu,” said Vamsi during the shooting of Danger. When I didn’t have movies I asked each one of them if they are willing to act in my film and they all backed out citing some reason or the other. Those who were inclined were interested in ‘co-directing’ it and kept telling me how to make it, or they wanted something like Ninne Pelladatha, Murari, etc. If the director is smiling today, he has seen enough non sense and hard tackled insurmountable ego’s and strange behavioral problems from his artistes.
An artiste who had problems with Vamsi was roped in for his recent film just because Vamsi felt that only he would do justice to the role. Unfortunately for the director this artiste is bad mouthing the film everywhere for reasons best known to him. He probably is not aware of the excellent reviews published in his favour and he is also seem to have forgotton the meaning of gratitude.
Take this anchor, she already thinks she is a heroine and refused to get the knots around her neck for the wedding scene. She might have thought that her hero in the film will really tie those moodu mullu and blackmail her later on. Isn’t that taking the drama too far?
