Athidhi Amrita Rao bhava!
Few can question the casting magic achieved by Mahesh & Co. in the choice of Amrita Rao as the co-star. But sources tell that though the choice has been suggested by Namrata and okayed by Mahesh, it has gone a long way in making UTV Motion Pictures (that natty production house that makes off-beat Bollywood movies for the NRI audience) come forward.
Besides the cosmopolitan appeal of Mahesh, UTV Motion Pictures is well aware of the potent combination that chic-looking Amrita Rao makes with the swashbuckling Mahesh. Sources suggest that UTV has also asked for certain changes to be made in the story like shifting the base of the second half of the movie to Delhi with Amrita Rao forming a key element - because of her earlier films, especially “Vivah” did very well in Delhi. Interesting to see a Bollywood style influence of Movie Production Houses in movie-making. Sridhar

Again boasting off about a film which was made for Bollywood & not for telugu audience. Meeremo siggu lekunda dhaanni mosthunnaru.
Sridhar - Earlier u told that Mahesh is the only hope of our Industry. Do u know what he is doing? He is acting in a film which is being made to encash on the craze of Mahesh and selected Amrita to have a north-indian appeal to the film (they will surely DUB it)
Whoever is trying to bring the nativity into our films or make path-breaking films are the Rays-of-HOPES for our industry.
Sridhar shud stop boasting about MAHESH & Sunitha shud stop boasting about JrNtr… TRY to be NEUTRAL guys

Hi Folks,
Please do not expect a Pokiri this time, Athidi is poised to be another Sainikudu. Inside report says - why did Mahesh accept this movie ? Doesn’t look like a Mahesh babu movie at all.
Mahesh needs a good director who has a bound script and can really showcase his talent. The Distributors and Exhibitors of this movie are in for a rude shock.
