KS loses his cool again

KS RamaraoKS Rama Rao had invited the Press to cover this programme…giving away memento’s to some of the committee members and others who helped make the programme a success. Inevitably when the media asked questions, he went into a frenzy. He started off telling us not to ask any controversial questions. One question led to an arrogant reply and that led to a war of words between a fellow journalist and KS Rama Rao with latter calling him a rowdy.

The producer apparently didn’t like the media portraying the film industry in bad light and the huge headlines irked him. Don’t ask anything, write what is given to you was his words. Self serving, self glorification, self preservation. This is what the industry is all about. Do some of us, in some perverse way, ask for it? Is it time for some of us to look where we are going and see what we are doing for ourselves? Do we want to be non questioning morons for ever? KS Rama Rao is ungenerous, unable to accord a fraction of that respect and dignity that he assumes is his birthright. He apologises and again makes a blunder. Maybe he should set up a newspaper of his own and air his views exclusively 24×7. He can keep all the advantages and their other shenanigans can be aired non-stop.

For them we are byte hunters who salivate at every Press Conference. They have this barely concealed disdain for the press. KS is just a representative, there are many who treat film journalists like crap. This is not acceptable to me and I fail to see how it can be acceptable to any film journalist/media person? KSRR, please put an end to this and give a human being the respect he deserves. About the laati charge that was supposed to happen and you stopping the thought, thanks a bunch. You have been too generous. Take a break, meditate, do yoga and there is something called art of living too!
