Weekend panduga

A veteran ex-director is known to be magnanimous for encouraging assistant directors in making small budget films. Every week when the director comes home there is a get-together of the group of assistant directors. A party follows and the coterie polish off huge quantities of alcohol. The bonhomie, the reverie goes on and when the director excuses himself to get his share of forty winks, the glass-heads continue to guzzle. Next morning the director is all set to board the flight and the band of loyalists are still in a holiday mood.

  1. sunitha…please hear my plea…your writing is really good when its simple….please please please please use less flashy words…this is a sincere request

  2. Dear Telugu,

We have mentioned the same couple of time to Sunitha.

As she is also Friday Columist for THE HINDU, she is expressing her words like that.

Though HINDU follows very good english, as a common man we can’t understand those.
But we have to try to learn those.

  3. well, srikant my friend, I do have a very good grasp of english, but the fact is that there is a difference between when you use words when you mean them and when you use words just for the heck of it….and these days iam noticing our journalists do this…its sucks man…i mean the quality of writing is going down bro
