Balakrishna is a very frank and a great person. Eppudaina kopam voste edurugunda thittesthaaru but after a few minutes he will call you and apologise ‘konchem tension lo undi al maatladanu emi anukoku. He also treats artistes like bangaru bomma, I would love to work with him again and again”, says Surya who is doing the second brother’s role in Okka Mogaadu (actually Sharwanand was chosen b4)the first being Prabhakar.
Twenty one year old Surya is known as ping pong thanks to Sye which gave him a name in the industry. Surya had learnt classical and western dance and has been heavily inspired by Chiru and Prabhu Deva. He’s worked in tapana, Jai Chiranjeeva, Sye, and Aa Naluguru.
In this film Surya dies and he says, “I would love to die in the film, audience nundi aa sympathy ante naaku chaal istam.” (Surya dies in Okka Mogaadu)Â Surya is playing a handicapped person in Kantri and the second lead in Hari Yeleti’s debut film, there is also Raviraja Pinisetty’s movie in which he plays Raja’s brother.
Finally ask Surya his favourite dialogue in Oka Mogaadu he says, “Lakshallo okadni, lakshamandiki okadni” and ‘narakatam modhaledthe evari maatavinedhi ledu’. He also praises YVS for his work…aayan roju ki four or five shots maatrame teestharu but you will see his speciality in that work. Earlier everyone would comment on Balayya but now aa aaskaarame ledhu. You will be spellbound.Â
