A source says Sirish Baradwaj who rose to fame (thanks to media) with his infamous act comes from a well to do brahmin (read grandpa) family. Though not financially sound b4 and at the time of his elopement the fact that he was funded by politicians, PJR notwithstanding cannot be ruled out. Sirish’s father Ramana Moorty married his childhood friend Dolly (that’s her nick name and their houses were seperated by only one house in the neighbourhood) from a different caste and that angered Sirish’s grandfather.As long as he lived there were no relations between the son and father and the father even gave away his home to the younger son in Prakash Nagar which was known as Gareeb Nagar before.
SB’s grandfather was a very respected man in his community and half of his good qualities were inherited by the younger son to whom he had given his property. SB’s grandmother, an old lady still lives in the house in Prakash Nagar. Ramana Moorty is also known to be a very good man but they were never known to live a comfortable life, forget luxuries. Sirish never had respect for his parents as they used to quarrel every now and then and that he became a juvenile offender comes as a little surprise.
