Sridhar Reddy is an earnest man, no wonder his climb in film industry has been fast and hassle free. The industry is made up all kind of people, many ego’s to tackle but he did it with his management skills. Coming from an academic background, his father is an economics prof and brothers into engineering and medicine, Sridhar surpassing his peers comes hardly as a surprise. He is from REC Waranagal (230 rank) and did his M Tech from IIT. Totally mad about movies, he says eversince he saw Abhilasha (especially the song banthi chamanti) he resolved to take up direction and that was in the 6th standard.
It’s heartening to see his dream come true finally. Sridhar is going to direct Sneha Geetham and has taken 6 months leave from his company to concentrate on his script. Thado pedo telchukundam ani decide ayyanu says he. He adds, “I called the family, explained to them and they are finally convinced. Making movies gives an insecure feeling to the family. I must thank my wife for that bcoz now she thinks that there is no point controlling so much passion for movies.”
He is into amazing multi-tasking. A music company, a film mag and his work in a software company. Sridhar says there is nothing like time management. For a perfect schedule one should believe in delegation and if that doesn’t work out, ask them to escalate it. There could be some negative vibes but we have to take it in our stride and treat it as an experience.
He runs a music company Madhura Entertainments and today it has become a one stop destination for small budget producers, for people know that Sridhar does good promotion of the music and is very reasonable with his rates encouraging one and all and is also helping combat piracy. Today thirty five percent of the music releases in TFI is from Madhura and so far the man has done 160 music releases. Incredible feat in a span of 4 years.
A die-hard fan of Ram Gopal Verma, Sridhar is stepping into the director’s shoes very soon and says Sneha Geetham starts from where Happy days ends. It begins from the farewell and the rest revolves around the next one year, how their life is going to be etc. A star hunt is going to begin for the film and only the editor and cameraman will be the experienced amongst the lot. Sridhar has taken up every project with a positive attitude and one hopes his dream materializes and Sneha geetam does well at the box office.
