Oh come on Sunita, you are nitpicking. Does it really matter if he was off by 5-6. The point he was making is that we have more than our share of SEZ’s, the land for which have been taken from mostly poor farmers.
We all know that Chiru will do nothing about it when he comes to power but the point he was making is right.
Stop dissecting statistics.

Why are you so much interested in pointing out something in whatever Chiru does? Did you ever even listen to what CBN or YSR delivered in their public speeches? Your blog is gradually becoming an Anti-Chiru blog. I don’t think you really want that kind of reputation for your blog.

The statistics quoted by you are also wrong. The link has data as on 11th August 2008. After that few more SEZs become operational. Still the PRP’s statistics might be wrong by one or two. But they are not a tracking company to track the statistics on daily basis. The data quoted by them is at the end of 31st Ausgut 2008.
As on 22nd the total number of approved SEZs are 531 (national). Read Reuters news service or Economic Times / Business Standard of 23rd Sept. You will find that.

CBN could never speak Telugu properly. How come, he is on the streets speaking on issues. He should do his homework on what his position is in the state and in his own party, even if he wins (not possible) he won’t remain in the CM’s post.
Speaking telugu properly shouldn’t be a criteria, but Chiru is just empty words, all rhetoric, no point.

Chiranjeevi cheppindi bhaarata desaaniki svaatantram vachina date kaadu. Indian govt gives permissions to SEZs everyday. So, you should be wise enough to realise that the actual number might vary slightly from what Chiru quoted.
