I am not going to talk about movie nor about this review also. I just go through this website for entertainment and I enjoy reading people comments also. All the people are commented that Sunita gave review because she is Kamma, did you ever see her giving a ve review for NBK?
- Someone pointed out acting capabilities of NBK - think about other heroes in Tollywood - Can any one do all kind of roles (Social, Mythological, Socio Fantasy, Faction, Romantic) roles in the current era including Mega star Chiranjeevi. Agree all are great actors - but why the hell you pass comments on Bala Krishna - Is it because you can’t see a kamma dominating on the screen?
- I have been seeing this kind of behavior from last 2- 3 years . Everything is related to Caste. I would definitely say one thing - you guys have caste feelings and that is the reason you ignite others because of your dirty mental minds
- What is wrong for a particular person love their caste and even hero from the same community? Did they hurt you and your family by pointing your caste and religion??
- Can you show me one KAPU who is not fan of chiranjeevi?? But I can show many from kammas who admire all heroes (including Chiranjeevi)
- As long as someone don’t hurt others - there is nothing wrong in admiring their caste or people from their caste. Same thing you guys do it.
- We are actually so funny - we have all these great qualities:
1. when it comes to heroes - we will fight because of different castes
2. we fight on basis of religions (Hindhu, Chirstian, etc)
3. We started fight for regions also (Telangana, Rayala Seema, Andhra etc)
4. Most important thing is we comment on anything and on everyone - because our tongue and our words are free and we can use with out any thinking.
I am not giving GYAN - People again comment me for this post. I know that, leave out the caste, hero worships (Admire hero but don’t hurt others), religion feelings and regional feelings.
Think about these things and fight for at least one thing below:
-> In out great nation, there are many poor people who die everyday because of food, water, shelter, etc
-> Many children die and their parents can’t able to save them - Again POVERTY
-> Many children work as slaves at age of 5 onwards - Again POVERTY. We are missing many ABDUL KAALAMs, NTRs, Chiranjeevis, Mother Theressas, Sachins, and many many people because of no proper education.
-> India is growing at a rate 9% GDP, but poverty level is not even increasing by point one percentage

you told good points however i want to correct you on something. people didnt accept chiranjeevi just because he is from kapu caste. he has come up by doing a lot of hardwork which everyone knows and moreover he is a versatile artist and can portray any kind of roles. indian media is really the main culprit to ignite this kind of caste feeling in the minds of the people. i have couple of kapu friends who like chiranjeevi as well as others too. chiranjeevi is admired by many because of his good nature however nbk spoiled his own life by getting involved in that shooting incident for the sake of money.
finally kamma vaalaki dabbu tappithe inko lokam ledu anukuntanu.. oka charity activity cheyyaru…eppudu choosina godavalu and pogaru…chiranjeevi garu politics loki vastante TDP ela bayapadutunnaro andariki telusu….thats stamina of chiru…TDP’s fate won’t change even if NBK campaigns for them…..so in a nutshell, an industry can’t be dominated bya single guy or from a single caste…
plz sunita garu…i stay in US and i feel very ashamed to discuss about indian media to my fellow colleagues. Its so disgraceful that you guys want to cash in everything that you get without caring for the people.

guys whoever starts reading this comment don’t make your conclusions at every sentence or read between lines… don’t start whistling at something that you enjoy and brood/heckle at something that is not palatable to you……
Facts:
- I am a telugu kamma, born in Karnataka and grew there…. and worked in AP later for a couple of years and now living abroad
- Am I casteist. Today, I have a slight bias towards my cast (and I hate that fact and also to admit that). By today I mean last couple of years, since I have entered the borders of AP, worked here and was infected by movies, idlebrain….. and diseases as such…..
The reason for that is same as when some Tamil calls a Telugu that you guys a bunch of jokers or a North Indian imitates south indian and mocks our languages… things just make one reactive.. no matter what….. when that happens.. I reactively tend to become a hard core Telugu and then a South Indian and then an Indian when that 14 people Aussie jokers beat us (I wouldn’t say our team is the greatest or has what it takes to beat Austraila consistently)……
That said…. we are what we are….. and grow from there…. it doesnt matter… caste, language, nation anything…..
there are rifts in the families… in Rayalaseema where Reddies dominate.. thy quarrel amongst themselves all the time…
In Krishna and other kosta districts where Kammas dominate… half the Kammas vote for Congress.. it doesnt matter if TDP was formed by NTR.. it is what favors the local leader can do for them today… Same with Velamas (KCR, KVP, MSR, Gone)… Kapus (Chiru.. Dasari.. Jogaiah… ) Mala Madiga.. doesnt ****n matter…… dear god…. being human is dreadful….I just want to become that dog in Godavari Movie… easy life
We all know the truth… all of us invariably know the truth….. let’s not run away from it……
and this is my personal view about Okka Magadu…. I went to the movie… really had to force myself to sit in the show and came out halfway through with my wife… I really felt bad for putting my wife (a kamma again) through the ordeal……
About Bala Krishna… I wouldnt blame him as far as the movie goes (he acted alright).. it is solely YVS who sank the ship… no doubt about it…. or Perhaps NBK who agreed to do it in the first place….
I dont agree with you Sunita about your review but agree with some of the points in this article…….
You know what my feeling is today…. all great people came and left.. Buddha.. Vivekananda.. Gandhi…… but no one can cleanse the humanity for good… coz every new born baby takes the colors and shape of the society into which it grows…. and it is for the person to think for himself and chose right from wrong…. good from bad….
And thanks to everyone.. it was a wonderful journey into being Casteist… Telugu… Indian.. blah blah.. blah…..
Today I know I love telugu more than any other language because I speak it… I love food at home (proper telugu bhojanam.. and yes dont forget curd rice at the end)… I love my mom a little more than all the other women there…
to be honest.. I dont see a real reason to be casteist… when I ask myself what differentiates our casts from others.. I cant find a lot of difference.. in these days…all our friends who live abroad here live the same way… our homes.. most of the food… kids growing up etc… so I can sure shed that layer off me.. but yes.. if it is not the case with you… by all means stick to it…. but only one request….
when I like my language… I also am open to others languages… and respect the way they speak (even various dialects within telugu.. telangana, uttara andhra… rayala seema).. while I like my food I respect others food (be it burgers or people eating dogs in north east… I can see some of you making those faces… lets come to terms with it… nonveg is *****n nonveg… if you have so much concern about life… do something about it… again… it wont happen in a day)
so you see where I am coming from……. all the best for everyone one of you there….

When ur writing a review and when u know ppl r goin to read it, u have to be responsible enough to give a fair review without any bias. You cannot escape it by just saying that u like nbk etc..,. PLZ U CANNOT ESCAPE IT. Write a review as SUNITA and not as SUNITA CHOWDARY, REDDY, NAIDU etc..,

Let me clarify u, its actually the other way round. Kammas couldnt see chiru dominating the scene and thats the reason why we r actually here talking about it.

I want clarify one thing - Balayya involved in shooting episode not because of money. Bellamkonda promised fans and even announced publicly that movie would be screened in record number of theaters and he dint keep his word and hence many hard core uneducated fans have upset and 2 of them died. That was the reason, do you think NBK really shoot a guy for 1 crore or even for 10 crores. Does that money really matter - he born with silver spoon.
- Second thing you said about Kamma’s are all money minded - I really pity on your understanding on one particular community.
- in TANA 2007, KATRAGADDA KRISHNA PRASAD has donated 1 million dollars to Bill Clinton on the name of TELUGU PEOPLE. Is it money mindedness? Can you show me any other telugu personality has done that before?
- Again I am not saying others are not doing, I am just saying, your perception towards Kammas are completely wrong. Why did you say such a baseless allegations on Kammas?
- Oka CBN, NTR - they have contributed significantly towards wellfare of TELUGU People and the development of Andhra Pradesh- Agree they may not be 100%, but atleast they have done their part to the recognition of telugu people worldwide.
- I also agree that many people other castes have also contributed to the success, but I brought up only those names since you have commented wrongly on one particular caste.
Finally You can’t certainly comment on one caste (let it be Kamma, Kapu or Reddy) based on what you have seen in one person or two from that community. There are in many people in the community who are doing good to the society.

- In fact this is best example, how we receive or see only bad in one thing. I wrote the comments to everyone and my basic point is that we shouldn’t fight for HEROES, CASTE, REGION and for RELIGIONS. And it would be really great if we would concentrate more on other issues.
But almost everyone commented about NBK, Chiru, etc. And you can’t judge my attitude based on whether I am worshiping NBK or not.

CBN did a lot of good to the society however like any other politician he ate lot of money….YSR too did good…he helped farmers while CBN is involved in dev the IT and other modern infrastructure. I want clarify one thing - Balayya involved in shooting episode not because of money. Bellamkonda promised fans and even announced publicly that movie would be screened in record number of theaters and he dint keep his word and hence many hard core uneducated fans have upset and 2 of them died.
