Sources from Chennai say that AM Ratnam wanted Krishna to play Vijaykumar’s character in Sneham Kosam. He had infact pleaded Krishna to take up the role but Chiranjeevi was supposed to be against it. Primarily because of the fear that fans would get hurt. The source says that in one of the scenes Chiranjeevi had to carry Vijaykumar’s slippers which might be objectionable by fans if Krishna were to take up that role.

And then in first place, seriously dont know how this blog have come up unless to increase the hits to the site. It is vijay kumar in the sneham kosam film from the beginning. From the tamil sarath kumar, simran starrer Natpukkaga which was a huge hit in Tamil nadu, the first character they picked was vijaykumar and then simran, It is due to her dates reasons later simran was replaced by Meena.

@Hacku: the one posted in the blog is 100 percent true. there is another instance in thodu dongalu, in which one actor has to rub the shoe of another actor with a handkerchief. the scene was later removed for obvious reasons.

Ur totally wrong, but u mentioned a point which i forgot. It is krishna who have helped chiru to get the role in todu dongalu movie which was in 1981, but ofcourse chiru became a legend and was in need of no one from the year 1983, when his all time great khaidhi was made.

Krishna when he acted remake for the charachter of sivaji ganeshan in telugu(dual role) he was called up by a famous director and was asked not to spoil the charachter value.
