Funding wah wah programmes
There is a programme kadhanayakudu on NTV which is being aired for seven weeks now. This is intended to glorify Chiru and show him as a flawless person. It is heard that many crores has reportedly been funded to the channel to see that nothing unfavourable is telecast against him. In the third episode, a director spoke about Chiru’s role in Stalin and said that it didn’t suit a person of his stature. This telecast was not edited. What followed was instructions from NTV boss to their staff that they shouldn’t here onwards telecast anything negative about him and that they should be careful. There is also a talk that the programme is a brainchild of another film personality to boost the image of the star in view of the upcoming elections. (TCP gossip)
