Good will untene opportunities
I keep reading this line darsakatva paryaveskhana in filmi mags about KRR supervising some new director etc. I understand that a senior person is guiding a junior but what meaning does it hold if you are a music director for the first time and you are supervising a realtively new singer in TFI for a film. My friend says itz like pointing a gun and shooting someone from the shoulder.
Coming to Rainbow, one hears that geeta madhuri was removed after singing a number for a club scene and sunitha taken in her place. The latter is supposed to be doing sangeeta paryaveskshana for the film. Sunitha has a voice like honey, is beautiful and filmi people say that she has arrogance to match that kind of beauty and that is the reason she doesn’t have too many offers these days. Talking about the slight to geeta madhuri, even sunitha herself underwent some low moments when she had rendered a number for Chandamama and then Asha Bhonsle was replaced for that.
But then does attitude become a hurdle for opportunities in TFI? Certainly yes, if a word spreads that so and so is acting big, rude or a pain in the neck then career kattham. Look how Srikant has survived so far in TFI and unabashedly declares that it’s on account of ‘good will.’
