I don’t understand this IPL

Sivakumar is 15. His condition is somewhat better compared to his classmates. He comes from a nuclear family. He studied till the 6th standard in a school in Kurnool. His father gave away the five acres of land to his brother as there were no rains and shifted to Hyderabad. Sivakumar is basically from a village called Gonigarla, and they depended on cotton, red chillies and groundnuts that  grew on their fields. After coming to Hyderabad both father and son have taken to collecting  garbage from homes every day in the colony in Bhavanipally at Bowenpally.

He earns 3,000 per month and so does his father. Siva goes on rounds from 6 am to 12pm every day, comes home and after a bath, has lunch and rushes to school. Earlier there was a break in education and he had forgotten everything. Now he is able to read the newspaper.  What does Siva do in his spare time? I like playing cricket, Dravid and Sachin are my favourite players. I don’t understand these IPL matches. I get confused. India-Pakistan match ante ardham avuthundi kaani manollu ikkada kontha mandhi unnaru, akkada kontha mandhi unnaru. Evaru win avuthunaro evaru vodipothunnaro telustaledhu. I have learnt to play computer games in school.” His ambition? “ to wake up a little late, probably avoid collecting garbage and study better.”

  1. IPL can provide the right kind of vehicle for these kind of boys who can excel in cricket and want to use sport as profession. They do not have to bribe or bend before anyone to get a place in team. If IPL goes the way like other professional leagues in the world like NFL in U.S.A, EPL in England , we could have teams scouting for talent at very young age and training them in their Acadamies along with providing education. That is why i really hope IPL catches up in a big way and it can provide to us a bit of sporting culture.

  2. Good English..
    >>>Nuclear Family..I was confused initially but got this in google..

The term nuclear family developed in the western world to distinguish the family group consisting of parents, most commonly a father and mother, and their children, from what is known as an extended family.

I think village name is “Gonegandla” not Gonigarla
