@observer: it is no doubt that the SC/ST Atrocities Act makes it an offence for anyone to abuse a person on the basis of belonging to SC. There is also a feeling that it is being frequently invoked. In this context courts have had an occasion to observe that the provision should not be abused. On that matter, It’s wrong to burn anyone’s effigy, just not SC/STs. Are upper caste people not human’s?
Journalists are also bound by the code which makes it obligatory for them to protest in a manner recognized by the law. This is because an attack on a journalist is an attack on freedom of speech and thus an attack on constitution that guarantees that right. The matter is sub judice. Kaani oka vishayam, journalists ni hypocrisy lo evaru defeat cheyyaleru. This is a wrong move by YSR and also an overaction by AJ.
This is not the first time the media has sent a living person to the Lord much in advance. Jayaprakash Narayan vishayam lo kooda anthe chesaranta. But those days there were only one or two channels. TV9 is in for severe flak for not apologising to the family of Mallikarjuna Rao for flashing and scrolling news abt him. In a sheer show of audacity the anchor says ”aaa vaarthani kutumbha sabhyulu kandincharu.”

We have never witnessed this is type of dictatorship after independence.
Hundreds of thousands of Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, Governor RamLal, Chief Minister Nadendla Bhaskar rao effigies burnt by public during NTR’s 1984 agitation. Eenadu wrote editorials and made lot of controversial comments; The Hindu news paper wrote articles/editorials against Indira Gandhi at emergency time. But none of the law makers those days went onto arrest the editors of the media in mid night.
Sunita’s article clearly shows that, very few remaining good journalists also scared to write articles against this fascist govt.
What is the need for arresting editor and journo after 6PM or mid night? Treating them as criminals is absolutely wrong.
There are lots of atrocities and attacks happening on scheduled caste people every day, it is taking months to arrest culprits.

I agree with Post 2 from Ravi.. Sunita is afraid to speak her mind. I dont blame her. She knows YSR is vindictive and can stoop to any level.
But to be fair, Sunita is most courageous person.
Congress leaders kooda YSR ki against ga matladadaniki bayapadatharu. MSR, DS, V Hanumanth rao, Janardhan raeddy, Chenna reddy Koduku, veellu kooda last ki Longi poyaru.. He will use all tools at his disposal against apponents..
Actually even i would think before i write this, If there is a chance that, YSR or his followers can locate my exact address..

– Oka Saari Mr CM program in TV9 choodandi. Sometimes the scribes ask him blunt questions. He replies to them in a friendly and humourous manner. I still remember how CBN used to reply insecurely to scribes when he was CM, as if they came to his house to steal something.
– TDP chetha balapadi , ippudu TDP weak ayyindhi anukuni chiru ni support chesthundhi AJ. Chaitanyaniki Maaruperaina VJwada parisaraallo putti YSR ni vodinchadaaniki KCR tho kalisadu Ramoji. Ivee Vaalla Values.
AJ editor arrest ee time lo jaragaalsindhi kaadhu. But they truly deserve every bit of pain they are feeling now. Because they stopped being pro-people long time back. They are now just anti-YSR.
