The 12 Commandments In Film Making
The following are the twelve commandments according to Pritish Nandy:
1. Chase the big idea. Any moron can make a big film.
2.There’s nothing called good films. Only hit films and flop films.
3.Give orgasms to your investors. Not your heroines.
4.Awards are great. But box office verdicts last longer.
5.Dream wet dreams. Don’t fund movies to make them come true.
6.There is only one God. He sits in the ticket sales counter.
7.Don’t try to replicate reality. Challenge it.
8.The best critic is a dead critic. Listen to your viewers.
9.Technology is a dumb b****. Stick to story telling.
10. Don’t expect professionalism. Contract it.
11.There are no original stories. Only original copies.
12Behind every hit director is a tough, son of a b**** producer.

It wouldn’t hurt to mention the source from where this has been lifted, not mentioning the blog etiquette.
