VN Aditya started off with Chiru &….

Gudumba Shankar did not start by then. VN Aditya announced a film with Chiru. At the same time another film called Tiger Seetaramudu (PK)  was also announced and both of them were in the scripting stage. Naga Babu bought a malyalam film rights and wanted to make it with Chiru. PK’s film was an original subject. After a few days said the film wasn’t good as the subject was not upto his expectation and shelved it. NB lost 25 lakhs.

PK too said the subject wasn’t upto his liking and didn’t want to take a risk as Johnny just flopped. Both movies going down the drain did upset NB. Because he had previously suffered a loss of one crore due to Kauravudu. More than the loss of 25 lakhs the profits that would come out of a Chiru film vanished, that was most depressing. That was when PK offered to do Gudumba Shankar on Chiru’s advice.

Gudumba was shot and later 30 per cent of it was removed after watching the rushes and was again reshot. While that went on a loss…..Manyam Ramesh’s (NB’s brother in law) friendship with VN Aditya took shape and they both decided to do a film. VN Aditya told  a story to NB before Stalin and NB didn’t like it. So MR gave a word that he would do a word with VN. So when Happy days released MR resolved to make a movie with the good look chap Varun Sandesh.

The story narrated was black and white. By then Dil Raju got in touch with Varun and offered him KBL and the contract was not to do a film for a year for others.. MR lost interest in the film as Varun dropped out from the project Then that’s how VN, Rahul, Sunitha and her husband made Rainbow. The sentiment with VN Aditya is that he grows a beard when the film goes to the set and doesn’t take it of till it is over. But what’s this, the beard seems to have crossed his shoulders? Any other film on the sets?
