Rahul speech lo resonance ledhu

I recently read an article about how columnist Ashok Malik was dissapointed with Rahul and want to share it with you. He refers to people who think that Rahul Gandhi is not hardworking hard enough and that he has not become the sort of 24 hr politicians they are accustomed to and that he has other things to do like paragliding and taking short breaks.

Ashok goes on to narrate an example: “At one public meeting Rahul turned up a little late and proceeded to begin with an apology. He explained diligently and sounding almost like the weather announcer at Delhi airport. That the fog in the capital had delayed his flight and that his departure and consequent arrival in Gujarat had to be postponed.”

After the long preface which left many in the crowd bemused, Rahul began his actual speech…. Yeh gujarat hai, gandhiji ka pradesh hai, gandhiji fought against the british and urged all indians to to take up truth….within a few minutes Rahul had lost his audience.

After going through the article I felt he was being a bit harsh. It may be true that his political managers might ask him to talk about mahatma when he goes to gujarat and Indira when he travels through UP but the man has shown that he has radical views by going into a naxal infested area. He may be a part time politician now but definitely is capable of winning atleast one election on his own.
