good work by NGOs

was going by tv9 this evening, saw lorries tumbling down bundles of clothes in their compound, just not there, in every colony i see some NGO putting up banners and doing humanitarian work. More than money let’s contribute clothes, rice, utensils etc….

rct went 2 vijayawada 4 shop opening yesterday. daaniki ma cinegoer website rct visits flood hit areas ani gallery pettaaru. :-) saradaga fans yetoo voccharuga, oka saari prakasam barrage chooddam randi ani untaaru. :-) . Pani kattukuni vellaademo ani tega feel ayyaanu, anyways good boy! heard chiru anniyya is suffering from back pain, despite all that he plunged into work. don’t tire yourself chiru…we expect you to play a gr8 role in the coming days. don’t isolate yourself politically.

If you see Venky’s son, you wouldn’t leave him..he’s just not cute..he’s mesmerising. Our grand ol’ man Ramanaidu had a shock of his life when he went to meet his grandson. As usual he bribed him with chocolates for a hug or a kiss but this time Venky junior was smart. When grandpa asked him what will you be when you grow up, the naughty bundle said “I’ll be a philosopher when I grow up”. :-) Certainly not an answer that one expects from a filmi family….this is clearly a venkatesh hangover.

    @Sunita

    Are you accepting donations for this cause thru
    Chadvalaniundhi?

    If So, please provide details here.

    If not, please consider so and give us the details. (I know a lot of people trust you)

    Also, Please provide a list of organizations you believe could spend the money properly, so people would have choice.

    May god give enough strength to all the victims.

    @critic: I’m associated with an NGO, and they are planning 2 adopt a village in this flood affected area. I’ll be able 2 give the details only after a couple of days. No, i’m not taking any donations thru chadavalaniundi…tht’s only for education during admission time during summer and b4 june ends.

    btw i shud let u know….my colleagues and friends in the NGO have collected a lot of clothes for these people during orissa floods and other calamities. they all have one thing 2 say which i find difficult 2 believe. these victims are refusing 2 take second hand clothes. they had taken lorries of clothes but none of them were willing 2 accept it. one of them was so upset, he said he’d rather let the govt take care of it.

    I still remember 1977 cyclone days. People were so grateful if they received a pair of clothes.

    May be it would be nice to buy opco clothes so weavers community get some work if all the sarees in opco stores are sold.
