I could be wrong. You know better.
I suppose they think that by doing so, Mahesh babu’s good fortune will rub off on them. FAT chance.
I think during the Vedam press conference, Manoj said something like he knows that anyway he’ll become a star, so he first wanted to concentrate on doing good roles – even negative ones. That’s all fine and good, but seriously Manoj considers himself a Star – HA! imagine the arrogance.
I know that all movie families are deluded from reality, but Maohanbabu’s family takes a big cake in this regards. Is Vedam really multi starrer because Manoj is there, nope. I think Navadeep has better Market than him and Arya2 is multi starrer in many respects..
I agree. I cannot stand the likes of Mohan Babu. He might have been an above average character actor in the 80′s, but i don’t think anybody ever mistook him for a Naseeruddin Shah. All moderately educated people *roll their eyes* whenever he opens his mouth. I’m surprised to see how his entire family is oblivious to this very obvious perception. I would have cringed & died with embarrassment if I was even remotely related to him.
Regarding Vedam, the only thing different about this film is that the main hero doesn’t hog 80% of the screen time. I think MM Keeravani said that everybody thought “rendu kattulu oke aralo pattavu ani”, but the director proved them wrong with this “multistarrer”.
Somebody please let all those people know that a Sholay with Amitabh & Dharm & Sanjeev Kumar is a called multistarrer. An Anand with Amitabh & Rajesh Khanna is called a multistarrer. Protagonists samavujjilu ayyi undaali, aa term apply cheyyataniki.
Vedam looks like an offbeat subject & i wish it every success in the world. We definitely need more talented & intelligent directors like Krish. I can’t wait to see it. But, a reality check please…..
