a few days back i met a person at the ntr trust bhavan. after having his lunch he used a sparkling sheet of white paper to wipe his hands. my first instinct was not honourable, i wanted to slap him..one because age hasn’t taught him to be sensitive and next he chose to destroy property that didn’t belong to him. that might be a small issue but don’t know why i hated that scene. i have heard of NTR enquiring why the lights were on in rooms where people were not present in the wee hours of the morning or the afternoons. this is in total contrast. just not the party office be it tdp or cong, this might be a regular thing in every govt building. we tend to be careful when it comes to our belongings but we have scant regard for other’s stuff.
the high court ruling is commendable. all the so called activists who have ruined public property should be made to cough up all the cash. why should a common man bear the brunt in the form of additional tax? an inexperienced movie director too wastes reels and reels, but that it is okay because it is borne by the producer. hyderabad is now one of the dirtiest cities, foliage will become extinct one day, we will have to spend half our salaries on water if we waste it, we might have to move around with masks at the rate of pollution in hyderabad. let’s be economical, let’s conserve energy, let’s save every penny for our future generations.
