this was my first visit 2 a telangana dist..had been 2 medak before but that was when i was in school, the church was all i could remember. rajoli (mehboobnagar )has a little over 3,000 pple( they are weavers, construction workers and farmers who grow chillies and onions..corn), the floods have left around 1, 200 families devastated. the tdp and communist parties visited this village and had a first hand account of their sufferings. with soaring temperatures, not a single tree in sight, open drains, the huts/sheds made of asbestos ..all so small presented a pathetic story of each family. there is no power in the mornings and the timings are from 8 to one in the night and it is always interrupted. one dweller says that last evening the village wore a bright look just because chandra babu was visiting.the children cannot study in the nights despite examination time. the sarpanch says each affected family has been promised 5 cents of land and construction would begin after three months. the pple have lost hope, with hitting heat, adoloscent girls in rags sleep outside these tiny sheds called homes. every person i had spoken to laments the loss of home and is worried about where the next meal is gonna come from, but there is no T word on their lips.

it’s a primal fight for survival which has no boundaries.
Just wanted to add on one thing. There will not be any ‘Pro-T’ leaders presence there because, if they go there people will ask for the basic 3 things ‘Roti, Kapdaa aur Makaan’. Not for separate Telangana. But these leaders are only interested in the people who are willing to carry a petrol or kirosine bottle in their hands and give a suicide pose to the press. Kudos to TDP & Communists for not leaving behind the past night mares and their effort to bring justice to these flood effected people.
yes people need development
kanisam kudu kavali not T who cares if its telangana or andhra or tamilnadu ?

You fight for mahaboob nagar people this will be an eye opener for KCR instead of making his pockets full he should have done something for being MP of MBnagar ….
mahaboobnagar is 33/34
Vijanagaram is 34/33
In Development index more than a decade ..
Both are not deserts like anantapur …they have Forests ,Rivers ,Coolies ……:(
I think this is teh same place Manchu Family adopted right? Are they doing any thing to the people leaving here..
the other day paper lo choosa.. rajoli people declined the offer of Manchu family ani… They don’t want andhra people to adapt them ani… correct me if i am wrong.
may be the statement is released by t activists emo.. but then they blew off the hope.
Its not Andhra or Telangana , Mahaboobnagar is neutral zilla i guess ,just because Manchu family only did 5% of what NGO or TV Channels did , while villagers needed bigger rehabilitation in range of at least 1 cr ,Ramoji gave 2 cr Maggalu to Rajoli Chenetha I guess
avunu, J collect chesina money ekkada karchupettaru?
1 or 2 fanatic idiots trying to get media attention by doing
these type of tricks. This is really news to me, I don’t know in which paper this news got published. Manchu family distributed supplies after the floods, at that time no body objected. Manchu family promised for 10 kids education at that time no body objected. since last 10 years Manchu family has been giving the business to Rajoli weavers, they should stop selling the sarees to Manchu family.
next local body elections loo TRS ki candidate deposit kooda radhu rajoli loo..ofcourse

Akkai, Rajoli population more than 10k, I think its 3rd biggest village in Alampur constituency (after Alampur and Ieja). Majority of them are weavers (famous for Gadwal sarees). Coupld of week back Eenadu group distributed “maggalu” for 400 families. Mohan Babu family adopted 10 kids and providing free education and they distributed 5 lakhs worth of food and utensil supplies after the flood. Mohan Babu’s wife sells the sarees and They get the sarees from this village. I spoke to the surpanch ( I think his name is Kurva Kistanna) and sent some supplies after the flood.
Any how good work babu atleast now govt will open the eyes and do some thing for the village.
