Inka Pavan okkadena?
Pavan is 16 years old. His father passed away when he was in the 7th standard. He has 2 younger sisters and a younger brother. Right now Pavan is studying in intermediate first year. He funds his studies by supplying milk packets in neighbourhood and also drops newspapers at homes early in the morning when students of his age are blissfully sleeping. For the past ten days Pavan is not attending college. The principal called a contact person and they informed Pavan’s mother left this world. Now this child has to take care of his sisters and brother. How is he going to handle this burden? Can he study? Can he work at this age? Can he cook for his siblings? Can he pay his house rent? We keep watching films with dramatic stories, here…Pavan is living his role. Pray for Pavan!

No matter how much actors may blow the ‘love for the craft’ horn trying their hardest to convince us that it’s not the lavish living that’s the driving factor, it’s ultimately all about the money. It’s an all-known fact that when you ask a star to sign up for a stage show anywhere in the world, the regulars on the demand list are one business class ticket (for the star themselves) and two economy tickets (for their glam squad: hairdresser, make-up artiste, ect.), a suite in travel. And these demands could be outstretched depending on the status of the star. And why not? People go crazy to see their fav star on screen twice a year and if he is appearing on TV every day for four days a week can the fan maintain composure?
