Every child who is not in school is a potential child labourer. I wanted to contact you, so i figured this is the fastest way.
I am a volunteer with a non-profit called AID(Association for India’s Development) which mainly raises money in the US and sends them back to India for various activities.( We disbursed and spent close to $1 million last year).
I am now writing to you about a certain fundraising competition in Facebook which awards $1000 to the CAUSE which has highest no of donations every day from 3PM ET to 3PM ET next day. And the CAUSE which has the highest no of donors by Nov 6th will get $50,000.
We are currently raising money(about $13,329 so far) for the AP and Karnataka Flood relief Fund(http://apps.facebook.com/causes/368576).
We are leading the overall($50,000) now and won the daily challenge(1st-$1000,2nd-$500) twice, once winning it and finishing second other time.
So, I was wondering if you can write a post about this on your blog and ask people to donate. The minimum donation is $10 and only the no of donations are counted and not the amount.
